One of the things we like to do in our Community Outreach Program is visit our sick and wounded vets in the VA hospitals. During our visits we are able to spend time with them, listen to their stories and bring them goods such as cards, games, word searches, crossword puzzles, paper and pens to slippers and extra blankets. One of the things we like to do in our Community Outreach Program is visit our sick and wounded vets in the VA hospitals. During our visits we are able to spend time with them, listen to their stories and bring them goods such as cards, games, word searches, crossword puzzles, paper and pens to slippers and extra blankets. These items help to pass the time during their stay at the hospital and also help to make them feel a little more at home.

Another thing we are able to do through our outreach program is help vets that may have just fallen on hard times. With funds raised through our Public Awareness Campaigns we are able to help our vets and their families with utilities, groceries and other household necessities.

The other part of our Community Outreach Program is helping out our homeless vets. There are a lot of vets out on the streets for various reasons and through our outreach program we are able to provide them with coats, hats, gloves, general clothing and small toiletries. The other part of our Community Outreach Program is helping out our homeless vets. There are a lot of vets out on the streets for various reasons and through our outreach program we are able to provide them with coats, hats, gloves, general clothing and small toiletries. Making Time 4 Vets is also in touch with other organizations and groups like our own making it possible for us to provide information for vets in need due to circumstances to which we are not able to fully assist.
